Criminal Complaints

When a complainant approaches the Police Station for lording a complaint to his grievance, and if the Police refuses to register any Complainant.
(i) Either Complainant can send a written complaint to Police Station of Assistant Commissioner Of Police or Deputy Commissioner Of Police and Commissioner Of Police through Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due.
(ii) And after receiving the complaint either in person or through a registered post, the aggrieved party have to approach and Lawyer / Advocate for filing the private complainant in the Hon’ble Court.

An Advocate/Lawyer files the Private complaint under section 200 of Cr.P.C and after submitting the arguments to the Hon’ble Court, the Hon’ble Judge pass orders directing the concern Station House Officer (SHO) to register an FIR or the Hon’ble Court may take the cognizance of the offence directly and will issue summons to the accused.
(i) Preparation of “PRIVATE COMPLAINT” as per the format for the alleged offences: attach all the documents along with your complaint as “LIST OF DOCUMENTS”, and mention all the names of witnesses to the alleged offences in “LIST OF WITNESSES”, then file the Complaint in the Concerned Court of P.S in the presence of Complainant.
